Jennifer Lagasca is Vice President of Network & Delivery System at QualCare, Inc.
Ms. Lagasca is a seasoned healthcare executive with nearly 20 years of industry experience at QualCare.
She manages all aspects of the company’s HMO, PPO, and Workers’ Compensation Networks.
She has oversight of all value-based relationships and products; provider network strategy and operations to support network development;
provider education, and market expansions. Ms. Lagasca also manages QualCare’s out-of-network negotiation division.
She works closely with clients and regulatory partners to achieve high level of compliance and customer satisfaction.
Ms. Lagasca joined QualCare, Inc. in 1998.
Prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Vice President of Provider Service Operations
and Assistant Vice President of Contracting & Provider Relations. She has more than 15 years of managed care experience in
all areas of provider services, including network regulatory filings; provider credentialing and maintenance; provider contracting;
data reporting and analytics, and cost containment.
Under her leadership, the QualCare Network has grown to more than 40,000 providers.
Her focus on building the Workers’ Compensation network has helped clients achieve a greater penetration of doctors
covering Workers’ Compensation injuries and provided the company with in significant revenue opportunity.
Ms. Lagasca was instrumental in developing and operationalizing the Medical Cost Containment Initiative (MCCI) program.
The product helps clients proactively control out-of-network expenses and has resulted in savings of more than $20 Million annually.
Ms. Lagasca’s relationships with New Jersey healthcare providers and
customers have enabled her to continually build the QualCare network and successfully introduce new products.
An active member of the NJ Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA),
Ms. Lagasca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the Edward J. Bloustein School of
Planning & Public Policy at Rutgers University.
